To celebrate national pi day–or any day, for that matter–I’ve created a roundup of some healthy, but still incredibly tasty, pie recipes.
If you didn’t know, pie is my favorite dessert. I’ve mentioned before that rather than having a large wedding cake, I am actually going to have a pie bar at my wedding.
What is it about pie that makes it so wonderful? I think it’s the old-fashioned spirit to making a pie. I’m was born and raised in Arkansas and do consider myself a true Southern lady so there is something about pie that feels like home to me.
Since Pi Day is coming up (3/14), I thought I’d do a roundup of one of my most favorite desserts. I can promise you that these pies are healthier, but just as enticing as their less healthy counterparts. 😉
